30 Day Challenge

Sticking to several long-term goals to establish new habits is a daunting task. Instead, try a 30 day challenge. You’ll be on your way to achieving your goals in just one month.

Craig Ford had a fantastic post on WiseBread, filled with info on how a 30-day challenge can help you change your life. I wanted to share his tips, and some of my own, for accomplishing a challenge like this. You’ll be surprised by how much changes in 30 days.

Completing a Challenge Builds Confidence

You know that feeling of crossing something off your to-do list? It’s awesome. Starting with your first successful 30 Day Challenge, you’ll build confidence with every day you prove successful. Your confidence will build up over time, making it easier to stick to your goal. Before you know it, you’ll have several 30 Day Challenges complete and great new habits that will transform your life.

For Those with Commitment Issues

You’ve heard the benefits of becoming a vegetarian, but committing to that major lifestyle change for an indefinite period of time freaks you out. Enter: 30 Day Challenge. You’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel. When the challenge is up, you'll have an idea if it’s a habit you want to continue for longer. There’s hardly any commitment involved. Just one month. You can do it.

One Step at a Time

Focusing on one goal is easier than dividing your energy and time to multiple major challenges. Intense focus in one area is likely to be more successful and less stressful than piling on many lifestyle changes at once.

30 Days is Enough

All it takes is 21 days to form a habit. 30 days will let you create the habit and maintain it.
