Super Bowl Expenses

Here's some numbers that are just absolutely painful to think about as someone who does not make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.

Cheapest price of a ticket currently online: $2,300

Commercial price: Well, the cost of a 30 second commercial was $3 million. That's paying $100,000 for one second. How crazy is that? There goes my dream of being on a Super Bowl commercial!

Food consumption: The Super Bowl is the second biggest food consumption event of the year. The first is Thanksgiving! Talk about a day where people really indulge!

Winner's Rings: The league pays for the Super Bowl winning team's rings. These rings are generally worth somewhere around $5,000 a piece. That's a pretty penny!
