Black Friday Phone Apps

Well, tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and Black Friday is going to be on upon us shortly. In order to prepare for the monstrosity that is Black Friday, I decided to highlight an article I found on CNN Money about the seven must-have Black Friday apps for your phones. Tomorrow the Black Friday ads will be out in the papers, but these apps will help you on your merry way! Here they are.

The Black Friday App

This app was commissioned by (I had never heard of it but it looks awesome). This app updates you with all the latest sales in various stores throughout Black Friday. You are also able to search by category, so if you are looking for something specific, you are able to compare prices from store to store. This app is available for the iPhone and Droid. Check it out!

This app is a nifty one, and it helps you keep track of you receipts and your spending habits. With this app, you scan your receipts (take pictures with your phone) and it will keep a copy of them on record for you. Not only that, but it will also record your spending habits and see where you have spent the most money. This is a great app, not only for Black Friday, but for every day use as well!

Some of you may be more excited about Cyber Monday then Black Friday. Personally, I don't care either way as long as there is a sweet deal where I get to save a lot of money. Regardless, for those of you who do most of your online shopping. Slice allows you to track all of your online shipments and orders simply by importing your email. Slice takes the confirmation emails, grabs the numbers and will track where each shipment is. Not only that, but it will also plot the shipments on a map for you so you can see exactly where you package is. When it arrives, Slice will send you a notification. This is pretty sweet if you need to track multiple orders!

This is a helpful app if you are looking for the best prices on books, CDs, DVDs or video games. You scan the barcode and the app will let you know where to get the lowest price whether nearby or online. The app is put out by Amazon, but it does a pretty good job of keeping things unbiased.

Click on any of the links to see all seven, and check it out! You'll be happy you have these apps when you head out to brave the craziness. Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving!
