Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

But let's not forget about the over 100 different types of cancer and those fighters, survivors, and affected family members.

Cancer is a battle no one should have to fight alone.

There is support.

There is strength.

And there is hope.

Worldwide, cancer accounts for 1 in every 8 deaths. If we join together, and support those around us, we can make a difference, and help to see a world where cancer does not conquer lives.

The Maine Breast Cancer Coalition has a list of ways that you can get involved by either donating, or attending an event to support breast cancer awareness.

To find out what you can do this month to help support breast cancer survivors, fighters, and their loved ones, visit http://www.mainebreastcancer.org/news.cfm
