How many of you out there have yet to find your passion? We, as 18 - 25 year olds, are in a life stage where our careers are young, or we are choosing a major in college, or we are discovering ourselves. Sometimes, the pressure to choose a "passion" can be overwhelming. I mean really, who can predict what they want to pursue at age 19? It's a big decision to make. So, here is a fresh tip for all of you who are in search of your life’s calling, and don't quite know which direction to take!
Finding Your Passion.
In order to find your passion in life, stop busting your brains THINKING about finding it. Instead, start taking ACTION to find it. You have to move your feet to get from point A to point B, and you have to make moves in order to progress in finding your life's passion. By trying different possibilities, exploring new careers, volunteering, learning something new, or getting a new job, you will either come to the realization that: "This is not it," or "THIS IS IT!!!"
Either way, every step you take is a step toward discovering what you love and what you want to pursue. But it's not only about discovering a "passion." Some people are multi-passionate, and liking several things doesn't mean you have to settle for one. That's why living passionately is so important. No matter what you are doing, no matter if it’s finishing up the laundry, or heading into your shift at the restaurant, practice living passionately, every single day.
The Money Doesn't Matter.
Don't worry about the money! If you truly love something, and want to pursue it, then pursue it! You will regret it if you don't. If you truly love what you do, you will find a way to make it work for you. There are always ways to make it work. Sometimes it just takes a little brainstorming.
Whether your job is flipping burgers or managing a sales team, set yourself up for success with a positive, uplifted attitude, everyday. Then, you will see that no matter what you are doing in life, opportunities will arise. People will be inspired by your drive and positivity.
Happy Fresh & Fit Friday!
