I made it back home to Windham after a grueling 4:00 a.m. wake up call and a 6:30 a.m. flight out of Nashville. But I'm alive, breathing, and still blogging.
I learned new things, met new people, and overall I had a really fantastic time frolicking around the southern city. Meeting the other Spokesters from other states was enlightening. We were able to compare notes and bounce ideas off each other. The position is such a unique job for a young person, so it felt great to collaborate.
The bulk of our time in Nashville was spent filming. There will be an awesome video coming out soon, so keep your eyes peeled on the blog in the coming weeks. We filmed all over town, early in the morning and late at night.
Last night, we took a break from filming to attend a Nashville Predators vs. L.A. Kings NHL game. After the game we went back to filming and we didn't wrap up our "set" until around midnight and all I could think of was how it was going to feel to wake up at 4:00 a.m. for my flight.
I headed back to the hotel where I was packed, showered, and in bed by 1:30 a.m. and up again reluctantly at 4:15 a.m. Groggy eyes and all I made it to the airport. Now I'm home again, and I'm already missing the other Spokesters! I had such a great time with a great new group of girls. Check out my video about Nashville in a nutshell.
It's good to be home, and I hope you enjoy your weekend!
