For me, saving money and making smart decisions are important. That's why I choose to keep my money at a credit union. Although where you keep your money doesn't seem to matter, it can have a significant impact on the health of your finances! For instance....

Credit unions offer superior rates on several products and services including loan products, dividend payments, savings products, and consumer loan financing

That's a lot of financial advantages! On average, consumers that do financial business with a credit union over a bank earn an annual $69 per member, and $131 per household, according to the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). Credit union members benefit significantly from better rates on loans, higher dividend payments on savings, and superior savings products.

It's time to do financial business with your credit union!

As young adults, we care about our futures, and the future of our finances.

Because we are just starting out, we face the fact that we don't always have the necessary funds to buy what we need. Therefore, we find ourselves turning to loans, whether for school, a first vehicle, a home, or just a boost in getting started. For my first car loan, I turned to my credit union because the rates were better

The numbers prove that this is true:  Credit unions have helped members benefit by $4.2B by offering more competitive rates on all types of loans, including car loans, unsecured loans, 5 year adjustable rate 1st mortgage, 30 year fixed rate 1st mortgage, home equity/second mortgage, and classic credit cards.

Credit unions help young adults get a head start.

With better savings products, I earn more on my savings with a credit union. According to CUNA, credit unions gave members with regular share accounts an additional $339 million in dividend payouts! That is a significant amount of money!

When looking into the best rates to heighten your financial future, consider becoming a member of your credit union! Check out more financial advantages here.
