Sabattus Regional Credit Union held their first annual Bike Ride to End Hunger on Sunday, September 20, 2015. With over 80 participants, the bike ride was successful in surpassing the credit union's fundraising goal of $1,500. All proceeds will go to local hunger organizations to help end hunger, as part of the Maine Credit Union Campaign for Ending Hunger.
In 1990, Maine's credit unions began the Campaign for Ending Hunger in Maine. Since then, they have raised over 5.9 million dollars. All proceeds of ending hunger events stay in Maine, and support local food pantries and hunger organizations. Your credit union cares about the community and making a difference. If you want to help make a difference for ending hunger in Maine, make sure to get on board with your credit union's next fundraiser!
