Tasty Thursday: Cookies and Cream Peanut Butter

So there are seven days left until I get married. It's pretty crazy to think about. One week from today I'll be on the coast getting married to my lovely fiancé. Unfortunately, with wedding planning comes great stress as well. I'm not one to get stressed that often, but for some reason I can just feel it. Do you ever have those days where you just need to throw away whatever good eating habits you had and chow down on something that is more than likely going to ravage your digestive system? Well, I feel like today may be the day. The good news is that I haven't really been on a health food kick lately so I may not feel bad about eating some comfort food.  The bad news is that I need to fit into a suit in one week! Gah! What a dilemma! Anyway, I was searching the interweb (is that what you kids call it these days?) and decided to feature this amazingly simple, tasty and unhealthy recipe. It's called Cookies and Cream Peanut Butter and it has a whopping three ingredients! It's easy to make, and good for those days where you need a sweet pick me up.

The ingredients are as follows:

10 whole Oreo Cookies

2 cups creamy peanut butter

1 cup white chocolate chips

2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

Take the Oreos and crunch them up and add two cups of the peanut butter to them in a mixing bowl. Then take the white chocolate chips and two tablespoons of remaining peanut butter and melt them together in a double boiler. Combine the melted chocolate with the peanut butter and Oreo mixture and BOOM! You've got a tasty amazing unhealthy snack that could make anyone's blues go away. I would say if you are counting calories...you should stay away from this recipe, but for those of us who want to indulge once in a while, this is the answer to your stress! Punch stress in the face, and eat this. Seriously, it will probably make you forget about what you were stressed about. I may do a test run and let you know how it goes!

What is your stress relieving food of choice?
