I have no idea how it happened, but i had some leftover chicken from the other day and decided to make a marinade/sauce to put over it. I don't generally whip up my own sauces, but I decided to give it a whirl and see what happened. The result was pure greatness. I've decided to share the recipe with you so you can try the happiness as well. If you are a fan of spicy/Asian food, I'd try it out. I'm not saying it's the most amazing thing you'll ever have, but it's pretty darn good, I think.
2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce (you may want reduced sodium)
2 Tablespoons Sriracha sauce: If you don't have this in your fridge, you need to get it now!
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil (or Peanut Oil)
1 Clove garlic chopped up
1 Tablespoon White wine vinegar
1 Teaspoon Brown Sugar
1 Good squirt of Molasses (I didn't actually measure...oops)
Take all the ingredients, and whisk them together in a bowl. Now, I used the sauce to marinate chicken breasts, but you can use it to marinate, use as a stir fry sauce or anything else of that nature! I would double or triple the recipe if you are doing large quantities, but seriously...you should try it out. It's totally worth it!
Do you ever experiment in the kitchen?
