From time to time we reflect on our childhood and our past by sharing stories or looking at old photo albums and saying:
“Ahh, remember the good old days?”
Well, in recent months social media has kicked nostalgia into high gear with the trend #ThrowbackThursday or #tbt for short.
Why not jump on the band wagon and share some good old throwbacks from our past? Since I’m the voice of the 18-to-25 crowd in Maine, I plan to bring you some good old nineties pop culture, fashion trends, TV shows, books, movies and more!
I mean, who doesn’t love the nineties?
Just this weekend I was poking around at Bull Moose Music and nearly had to fight the urge buy an arm full of 90s dance hits CDs. I was fortunate enough to have a companion to discourage me against the impulse purchase.
So, in the end I walked out with one CD titled Pure Dance 1998. Popped into the CD player in the car - which it seemed like I had not done that in years - and let the sound of 90s dance music fill the green machine.
It was actually so bad it was good, if that makes any sense. I can’t wait to let it play during a car ride with an unsuspecting passenger. Watch out!
