Tunes Tuesday: Say Hello to Karmin

Looking for something to do this weekend? Why don’t you head on over to Old Town Riverfest and catch a glimpse of Karmin in the Saturday morning parade? That’s right, the musical duo comprised of Old Town native Nick Noonan and his fiancé Amy Heidemann will Grand Marshal the Old Town Riverfest parade on Saturday, September 29th at 10 a.m.

Karmin topped the charts with their hit “Brokenhearted” and now their new single “Hello” is taking over the airwaves. The group is also well known for their covers of popular rap songs. Amy shows off her incredible speed-rapping skills in their version of Chris Brown’s “Look at Me Now.” You’ve got to check out the video. The speed at which she can recite those lyrics is unbelievable!

There’s no word yet if Karmin will be performing at Old Town Riverfest, but there is speculation that the pair may take some time to meet fans after the parade. Nothing is confirmed, but the best way to find out is to head down to the event and see for yourself!

While you’re there, be sure to come find me and The Green Machine. I’ll be spending some time downtown handing out free stuff with Penobscot County Federal Credit Union. It'll be an exciting fall event!

Are you a fan of Karmin?
