Budgeting is a tool that helps you to reach your financial goals. Budgeting each month helps you to plan what part of your paycheck will go toward your expenses, your saving, and your long-term financial goals.
Although the task seems daunting, without it, you may feel like you're winging it day-to-day when it comes to spending. The problem with that is that you may or may not get stuck without the money you need to pay your expenses.
Luckily, there is a solution to the budgeting process: Apps, and more specifically, budgeting apps! My friend Jeremiah in Alabama recently blogged about some awesome budgeting apps, and I thought I would share with you:
1. Level Money: This app is keen on helping you save money. You can set up your budget based on how much you want to save and it tells you how much you can spend each day.
2. Savings Goals: While this app was set up to help you save money, it was developed to help you set and achieve savings goals.
3. LearnVest: Helps you sync all of your financial accounts into one location so you can easily monitor and budget all of your accounts properly.
4. Goodbudget: With this app you input your expenses into “envelopes,” such as gas and groceries, which then are deducted from your monthly income estimate. It also lets you set an amount that you want to save so you can see how much money you have left in your budget to use.
