Lauren Reeves, a recent graduate of the University of Maine, has been named one of the finalists for the Young and Free Maine Spokester title powered by Maine’s Credit Unions.
Reeves is in the running along with three other contestants to represent the 18-to-25 crowd for credit unions in Maine. The winner receives a year long job of blogging, making videos, traveling and connecting with other young people around the state.
At UMaine, Reeves graduated with a double major in Journalism and Spanish. She earned a spot on the Dean’s List every semester and was an active member in Lambda Pi Eta, the national honors society for Communication and Journalism.
